Associate Professor Tracy Dudding-Bythe

Associate Professor Tracy Dudding-Bythe is a member of the NEW1000 Executive Board. She is a geneticist at Hunter Genetics with extensive experience in analysing and interpreting genetic test results.



In 2021, Associate Professor Dudding-Bythe co-founded Rare Voices Australia, a national advocacy organisation uniting nearly two million Australians living with a rare disease.She has led the design and implementation of the University of Newcastle Joint Medical Program genetics curriculum and provides supervision to fourth-year medical students undertaking the special study option in clinical genetics.



Since 2009, she has worked on projects attracting more than $1.6 million in funding, is an investigator at the University of Newcastle's Grow Up Well Priority Research Centre, and an Associate Investigator for the Centre of Research Excellence for Genetics of Neurocognitive disorders.
