There are many questions you may have about how to have a safe and healthy pregnancy and how to give your baby the best start in life.

Our research goal is to ensure all families safely deliver healthy babies. For some families, their pregnancy can be complicated by conditions like high blood pressure, preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, restricted growth, or preterm birth.

Our researchers are dedicated to investigating the causes of these complications, developing better predictive and diagnostic tests, and providing evidence for the best way to prevent and treat them.

The approach we use is called precision medicine, as it involves using clinical, biological, and genetic information specific to each parent and their baby.
